The Mission - Website Photography

We’ve long been fans of Milwaukee Food & City Tours. When owner Theresa Nemetz contacted us about capturing photos that showed off their tours and our great city for their website, we knew this was going to be an awesome project and that we were a perfect match.

Lifestyle Photos of their Tours Needed To:

  • Answer FAQs. The photos needed to visually answer people’s questions on the size of the tours, handicap accessibility, portion-size of the food served on their restaurant stops, and give guests an overview of what they could expect.

  • Show real people having real fun. The photos weren’t to be over-styled or stock-photo-esque. People looking at them should be able to see themselves and their friends having fun on a tour.

  • Celebrate Milwaukee. Showing off Milwaukee’s iconic views, unique architecture, and eclectic vibe was key. Local attractions and restaurants needed to be shown in their best light.

  • Be appetizing. The food and drink that made Milwaukee famous had to shine. We provided mouthwatering on-location food photography at a variety of restaurants and even a Farmers Market!

With Theresa’s expert planning skills and our knowledge of what photos attract on a website, we photographed over 53 different locations in 27 hours and the resulting photos helped secure their spot as the go-to tour company in Milwaukee.

COVID Product Pivot

When the tourism industry reached a standstill with COVID-19, Milwaukee Food & City Tours pivoted instantly, launching their “Shelter-In-Style” kits - their creative and Milwaukee-esque take on quarantine care kits. We were able to work with them again using our “Ship & Shoot” product photography.

We photographed each kit in a stylish and fun way, also highlighting the local businesses that participated. Sales increased when customers were able to see what was in the kit, and they loved the quality and thoughtful packaging. These kits were well-received and increased revenue in a time when Milwaukee Food Tours could not safely operate.

These alliances are at the heart of what we do: showing off the city we love and helping businesses increase their revenue.
